Members of the Elko Downtown Business Association are proud to support regional foods and producers.
In 2010 on the second Saturdays of July, August, September and October head downtown and join us at the DBA Farmers' Markets. Markets are from 10-3pm and will provide locals and visitors alike with the opportunity to come together and enjoy fresh produce, local products and to see the progression of the seasons on our vendors' tables.
Fruits, vegetables and other products will be available. Support your community, environment and healthy eating habits by joining us. Vendors are encouraged to contact the Market Manager directly for more information.

Wine Walks this year will be held on the Second Saturday, July through October. These events are a fun way to enjoy a summer evening full of fun, friends, family, food and wine while experiencing Downtown Elko. A list of the participating businesses and a map will be distributed at the start of each event.
Stroll through historic Downtown Elko at your own pace from 4 - 7 pm, sampling wine at participating businesses. Streets will again be closed this year for your safety. The cost is $20 per person which pays for the
event and includes a wine glass to be used for the event. Dates for this years Wine Walks: • July 10th • August 14th • September11th • October 8th (Elko Uncorked) This year the Wine Walks will follow the Elko Downtown Business Association Farmers' Markets being held in the Corridor. Save the dates, call your friends and plan now to spend the day downtown!

We would like to invite you to participate in this year’s Snowflake Festival in downtown Elko, on Saturday, December 11th, 2010 from 1 pm to 5 pm. (new hours) This event is held in downtown Elko where the streets are closed and the shops are catering to your holiday needs while you enjoy the festive spirit that goes along with the holidays.
Vendors We would like to invite your group to participate in this event by selling soup bowls, kettle corn, art or whatever your group would like to sell. Entertainment The streets in the downtown area will be closed during the festival. The DBA will arrange for a 24x36 stage to be set up at the intersection between 5th and Idaho Street. We will also have a variety of acts performing throughout the downtown area. We would like to invite you to participate. We encourage all groups and clubs to sign up. Parade The festival will end with the Parade of Lights. Line up starts at the Crystal Theater then proceeding down Commercial street turning right on 4th street, turning right on Idaho, down to 12th street back to Commercial and ending back at the Theater. General membership to the Downtown Business Association consists of any business or individuals interested in the promotion of downtown businesses and pays an annual due set by the Board of Directors.
There are two categories of memberships.
- General Membership consists of businesses located in the designated downtown area, and shall include the opportunity to participate in promotional projects and events benefiting the downtown area.
- Associate Membership consists of all others who are not in the designated downtown area and/or individuals who are not associated with a business in the designated downtown area as approved by the General Membership
The downtown area is defined as being bounded on the south by Lamoille Highway, on the east by College Ave., on the west by Hot Springs Road, and on the north by Copper Street.
The primary goal of the Downtown Business Association is to promote and enhance the downtown area in Elko, Nevada. Some of the projects that the DBA has undertaken are:
- Christmas decorations and banners for Idaho Street and Corridor
- Flower barrels for participating members
- Pedestrian Benches
- Snowflake Festival/ Parade of Lights
- Decorative garbage cans
