Beer/Wine/Cocktail Walks & Safe Serve

One of your DBA Membership Benefits is participation in the Downtown Elko Events. If your business is interested in taking advantage of the Beer/Wine/Cocktail Walks marketing opportunity, please review the following information:

Alcohol

During Beer/Wine Walk events, the business has the choice to serve beer or wine or both, but not hard alcohol.

The reverse is true for the Cocktail/Alcohol Walks; alcohol, but not beer or wine.

1 ounce pour - no second pours

Continuing the downtown walks is contingent upon our adherence to the City's requirements with 1 ounce pours and abiding by the safe serve guidelines. A participant can become very intoxicated after 20 stops or 20 ounces of alcohol. The DBA, and or the noncompliant business, can be liable for an injury or accident to participants or bystanders during or after a walk if the guidelines are not followed.
